Document search workspace
A search point for a defined document collection, with useful filters, visible metadata and explicit access rules.
THE PROBLEM TO MAKE SIMPLER
Find the right version, not just a file.
The right document often already exists. What is missing is a consistent title, a validation state and a way to distinguish a working version from the one to use.
FOCUS / 06
The first index covers one collection and one update method. We favour explainable search and filters rather than generated answers whose source cannot be checked.
THE FIRST SCOPE
What we scope.
- 01One collection and one import method
- 02Indexing of agreed metadata
- 03Keyword search and three business filters
- 04Simple access rules and a reindexing guide

BEFORE STARTINGTwo questions
Two questions
that matter.
Are files copied to a new cloud?
Storage and access are agreed during scoping. Transfer to a new provider is never implicit.
Can semantic search be added?
It can be considered after a review of the collection, confidentiality and cost. It is outside this first scope.
